Who we are
Lever1 is a Kansas City-based professional employer organization (PEO) providing a multitude of resources for businesses across the country. Integrated services enable business owners to cost-effectively outsource the management of human resources, benefits, office management, accounting and public relations.

PEO clients are able to focus on their most pressing business operation in order to maintain and grow their bottom line. It is the goal of Lever1 to partner with other businesses to provide employer solutions to fit small and midsized business needs. Lever1’s biggest measurement of achievement is the growth and success of its clients.

 

Mission

Lever1 will provide administrative and management solutions for small business owners. By assisting businesses with their office management needs, Lever1 allows its clients to focus their resources on generating revenue. Utilizing Lever1’s PEO plan allows business owners the opportunity to provide their employees competitive benefits otherwise not feasible.

 

Leadership

Erica Brune, President

Erica Brune currently serves as President of Lever1, a Kansas City based PEO.  Erica offers 15 years of human resources and strategic fiscal reporting that has led to 45% financial growth year over year for her companies.  Her role as President is to drive new business relationships, product innovation and efficiencies that give Lever1 clients the freedom to focus on the core goals of their business.  As the face of Lever1, Erica attends a wide range of trade shows and networking events educating small businesses on the tools they need to grow their businesses while taking the paper out of their work.

Prior to becoming President of Lever1, Erica served as Director of Operations at Gragg Advertising.  While working with Gragg, she implemented several new programs including a system for streamlining profitability and fiscal reporting which fostered a 238% growth from 2008 to 2010.  Erica managed all the administrative aspects of the agency as well as the pro-bono work and the ongoing staff trainings.  Erica's financial and management background also includes work for Wollmuth Maher & Deutsch LLP in New York where she was responsible for recruitment, training and development, benefits administration and employee communication as the Chief Administrative Officer for seven years.  Erica's article "Developing a Budget, Small Business Style" has been published by Thinking Bigger Business monthly publication as well as their annual 2011-2012 Thinking Bigger Guide for KC Entrepreneurs.

 

Gregory Gragg, CEO and Chairman

As Chairman and CEO of Lever1, Gregory Gragg offers his clients over 30 years of business management experience through consulting and advisement.  A true entrepreneur, Greg started Gragg Advertising in 1992 and has spent the past 20 years growing his agency into one of the top companies in the Kansas City area.  Under Greg's leadership, Gragg Advertising has received numerous accolades as well as experiencing record growth.  From 2009-2012 Gragg advertising increased their revenue by over 138%.  Since that time, Greg has used his experience to aid other entrepreneurs in the startup of four additional companies.  These companies' range in specialties from lead generation, compliance, consulting, and business services.  Through his years of experience in business leadership, Greg has had the opportunity to work with other business owners in an effort to improve their revenue outlook and grow their businesses.

In addition to Greg's business ventures, he has also provided support to numerous non-profit organizations in the Kansas City area.  Not only does he offer his business expertise in marketing and business tactics, Greg continually strives to enrich the community through public service.  Through his "Gragg Gives Back" program, Greg is committed to building a better world inspiring philanthropy and promoting goodwill both inside and outside the agency.  Greg encourages all his employees to volunteer during business hours for non-profit organizations such as the City Union Mission, Children's Mercy, and the Boys and Girls Club.
